District Profile

The New London Local School District consists of one K-12 building with three (3) schools: elementary, middle school and high school. We have an enrollment of approximately 975 students:

Approximate Enrollment
High School (9-12)X
Middle School (6-8)X
Elementary School (K-5)X

The district includes portions of New London, New London Township, North Fairfield, Wakeman, Clarksfield, Fitchville Township, and Hartland Tounship within Huron and Lorain Counties in Northwest Ohio.

In addition to having outstanding college preparatory and general courses of study, NLHS is affiliated with the EHOVE Career Center, which offers 50 vocational programs and Tech Prep courses of study. The athletic teams compete in the Firelands Conference.

New London High School is partnered with Lorain County Community College for College Credit Plus and LCCC's MyUniversity Program to provide post - secondary opportunities to out students.

Forty-nine percent of NLHS graduates in the Class of 2015 continued their education at colleges and universities.

Graduates earned over $100,000 in scholarships and awards to public and private colleges and universities in Ohio from our local scholarship programs.

The district promotes and supports high achievement with: technology, a Gifted Program, and numerous AP and College level courses.

New London Elementary supports our youngest learners with the areas only 5-Star rated preschool that serves 3 & 4 year old students.

New London students take great pride in academic and extracurricular accomplishments. The strong support of the PTO (parent teacher organization), Athletic Boosters, surrounding business community, and local governments enhance the lives of our students.

There are many amenities within, and surrounding, this district that is rural by nature yet a very comfortable place to be a permanent resident.

A hidden gem located in the Village is the New London Resevior, parks, and camp ground that offers family fun and entertainment.
