Dear Parents of New London Students,
New London Elementary and Middle School have traditionally provided an annual back-to-school supply list and requested that every parent individually purchase a wide variety of classroom supplies (pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers, crayons, binders, paper, etc.) for classroom use throughout the school year. For the 2018-2019 school year, New London will transition to a consolidated bulk supply process in an effort to improve the education experience for our students. The process will:
Reduce the overall cost of supplies.
Save time, effort, and reduce frustration during the hectic back-to-school season.
Standardize, improve the quality, and increase the dependability of classroom supplies.
This process has been implemented in many other school districts successfully, and we believe we can have the same success at New London. We are requesting: (What items will be included for your ? Click here)chilld
$35 for Grades K,1, and 3
$40 for Grades 2, 4, and Mrs. Cumberledge
$45 for Grade 5
$50 for Grades 6,7, and 8
In lieu of the time, money, and effort required for you to obtain back-to-school supplies. High levels of participation allow for large volume purchases, reduced unit costs, and increased benefit to your child and his/her classroom. Parents who do not wish to participate in this school supply purchase program, however, can opt out and will be provided with a back-to-school supply list as in past years.
Payment is requested by May 30th. As a convenience, we are also providing the opportunity to purchase headphones and backpacks if your student does not currently have these items.
