I did not grow up in New London but have made it my home as an adult. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I love 8th grade! Their enthusiasm, sense of humor and curiosity about everything is so much fun to work with, it makes every day unpredictable! I went to Ashland University to earn my Bachelor's Degree then received my Master's Degree from Marygrove College. I have three kids, my oldest graduated last year from New London and is in his first year of college. My younger two are high school students here at New London. I love to read, there really is nothing better than getting lost in a great book! American History is not only the subject I teach in school, but an interest in my life too. I truly believe we are lucky to be Americans and I get the opportunity to teach your students why that is such a true statement, by also visiting our nation's Capitol.
