New London Local Schools is proud to be a founding member of the Northern Ohio Rural STEM Collaborative (NORSC). NORSC is a non-profit organization of rural school districts in northern Ohio, founded July 2022 after five years of prior success as the Rural STEM Collaborative. The founding NORSC school districts include Black River Local Schools, Mapleton Local Schools, New London Local Schools, Northwestern Local Schools, and Wellington Exempted Village Schools.
The vision of NORSC is to build a viable non-profit organization of rural school districts and partners in northern Ohio who work collaboratively to build a world class K-16 STEM pipeline that produces innovative and creative STEM employable individuals.
